Jill Baumgartner
Jill Baumgartner聽is an Associate Professor and William Dawson Scholar in the聽Institute for Health and Social Policy聽and the聽Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics & Occupational Health聽at 平特五不中. She also is an Associate Member of the聽平特五不中 School of Environment.聽Dr. Baumgartner studies exposure to environmental pollutants and their affect on human health in the context of urbanization and development.聽She holds a joint Ph.D. in Population Health Sciences and Environment & Resources from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Masters in Population and International Health from Harvard University. She was a Global Renewable Energy Leadership Fellow at the Institute on the Environment (University of Minnesota) from 2011-2013 and a visiting researcher at Tsinghua University in 2012.聽
Research interests: (1) evaluating the health benefits of energy and environmental interventions in developing countries; (2) investigating the impacts of air pollution composition and sources on health; (3) understanding the chronic disease impacts of environmental exposures over the life course.
