Dr. Fuller has worked in the Mohawk community of Kahnaw脿:ke as a Public Health and Preventive Medicine Specialist for Onkwata'karit谩htshera (Kahnaw脿:ke鈥檚 One Health Agency) since 2016 and as a Family Physician at Kateri Memorial Hospital Centre since 2013. In addition to continuing to treat individual patients in the community鈥檚 clinic, her work with Onkwata'karit谩htshera focuses on the areas of health surveillance, health promotion and prevention. Dr. Fuller's work in applying OCAP principles to health surveillance has been ground-breaking in assisting Kahnaw脿:ke in gaining access to, analyzing, and interpreting the community鈥檚 own health data, and in using this data to help raise awareness, adjust behaviours, adapt programs and develop policies to improve health for Kahnawa鈥檏ehr貌:non. Through this ongoing work, done with the key collaboration of the Direction r茅gionale de sant茅 publique de la Mont茅r茅gie, the community and region serve as a model of what can be achieved for other Indigenous communities when health equity is made the focus. Dr. Fuller also plays an important role in building and maintaining relationships with federal and provincial agencies responsible for public health funding and service delivery and in increasing the public health capacity of Kahnaw脿:ke鈥檚 local health and social service organizations. Dr. Fuller completed her degree of Doctor of Medicine at the University of Toronto (2011), and medical residencies in both Public Health and Preventive Medicine (2016) and Family Medicine (2013) at 平特五不中. She also completed the degree of Master of Science in Epidemiology at 平特五不中 (2015).
