​The Research Program and clinical units are located in the major teaching hospitals and affiliated laboratories of ƽÌØÎå²»ÖÐ. They offer the community highly-specialized medical and surgical care.
Head & Neck Oncology
This unit incorporates a multidisciplinary approach with a team of surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, speech therapists, nurses, dieticians and social workers. It provides the cancer patient with well-rounded care from diagnosis to recovery.
Rhinology & Sinus Surgery
Conditions of the nose and sinuses are treated using modern, minimally invasive techniques.
Otology & Neuro-Otology
Treatment of middle- and inner-ear disease is addressed through medical and high-tech microscopic procedures. Full audiological testing facilities are available.
Laryngology and the Voice lab
Laryngeal and voice disorders are treated using advanced microsurgical techniques. Speech therapists are available to provide professional voice care.
Pediatric Otolaryngology
Staffed by specially-trained otolaryngologists, the service provides high quality care, offering surgical procedures such as tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies and tube insertions. Specialized surgery towards the middle ear and mastoid disease, congenital conditions and childhood cancers is also provided.
Dizziness Unit
Disorders of the vestibular system are evaluated and treated. A vestibular rehabilitation program is available.
Facial nerve Rehabilitation Unit
Computerized biofeedback techniques are used to rehabilitate patients with facial paralysis.
Facial Plastic Surgery
Numerous procedures are offered for patients having facial cosmetic and posttraumatic problems.
