Biographical Sketch
I graduated in the UK where I had extensive training in Cardiology, Neurology, General Internal Medicine and Endocrinology/Metabolism. Was involved in the early development of insulin pump technology and then the application of pelvic ultrasonography in the diagnosis of female reproductive disorders. Came to Canada in 1987 to escape Mrs. Thatcher.

Research or Clinical Activities
In Canada for 26 years with a primary responsibility in Reproductive Medicine. Helped found the ƽÌØÎå²»ÖÐ Reproductive Centre (now the MUHC Reproductive Centre. Have continued a largely clinical commitment to the area, to Diabetes diagnosis and prevention.  Have also continued to practice Internal Medicine. My major Research interest has been the relationship between metabolic disease and infertility in men and women (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) and its treatment. Other areas include the treatment of Premature Ovarian Failure and the metabolic disturbances associated with malignant disease.
