Sam and Sadie Roth Family Visiting Professorship: Applications Closed for 2024

The 平特五不中 Department of Medicine is calling for nominations for the prestigious Sam and Sadie Roth Family Visiting Professorship. The invitation is extended to exceptional applicants, of highest caliber and expertise, for a visiting period of 3 to 6 months in 2025. Successful candidates will receive funding of up to $45K, which may cover travel expenses, accommodation, and research program expenses. Funding does not include salary support (usually provided by candidate鈥檚 home institution).

Criteria for application:
  1. Candidate has a ranked academic university appointment
  2. Host/proponent must be a full time 平特五不中 DOM Faculty member
  3. Priority will be given to candidates whose project is aligned with Divisional and the 平特五不中 DOM strategic plan.
  4. Projects may include but not limited to; research initiatives but could include clinical programs, medical education and quality initiatives.

  5. Project should lead to future academic and/ or research collaborations between candidate鈥檚 base institution and the host division.
  6. Minimum duration of Visiting Professorship of 3 months
Prospective hosts/proponent are kindly requested to submit the following documents:
  • A concise description of the visiting candidate, not exceeding half a page.
  • A succinct description of the collaborative project, also limited to half a page. Please ensure to highlight how the project aligns with the DOM strategic plan.
  • A brief overview of the 平特五不中 DOM host program, not exceeding half a page.
  • The visitor鈥檚 CV
  • A concise budget proposal, limited to half page.
