YCBS 102 Fondements du droit de l鈥檌mmobilier et de la copropri茅t茅 au Qu茅bec / Fundamentals of Condominium & Property Law in Quebec (5 CEUs)
Ce cours porte sur les grands principes l茅gaux contenus dans le Code civil du Qu茅bec et d鈥檃utres sources juridiques encadrant la copropri茅t茅 et la location d'immeubles r茅sidentiels, de comprendre les diff茅rents encadrements, de d茅tailler les obligations minimales des acteurs et d鈥櫭﹙aluer les actions possibles lorsque requis.

This course focuses on the main legal principles contained in the Civil Code of Quebec and other legal frameworks governing residential and co-ownership properties. Gain an understanding of the various frameworks and the minimum obligations of all parties and learn how to identify possible actions when required.
YCBS 104 Residential Building Systems and Maintenance Management / Syst猫mes de b芒timent r茅sidentiel et gestion de l'entretien (4 CEUs)
This course provides an overview of multi-unit building structures, good maintenance practices and various building systems including plumbing, heating, mechanical, elevators, electricity and security systems. Learn how to manage emergency situations and subcontracted projects. Focus is placed on developing the skills necessary to create comprehensive inspection and maintenance reports and, on how to manage a contingency fund.

The objective is to help learners develop effective interpersonal skills. Emphasis is placed on the following areas: communication styles, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, working with teams and influencing others, workplace diversity and intercultural communication, presentation skills, and facilitation skills. As a result of acquiring and developing these interpersonal skills, learners can increase their overall professional effectiveness.

This course explores issues related to change management including models of change management, keys to successful change processes, change leadership structures, common change management techniques, integrating change management considerations into consulting programs and proposals, choosing the intervention and getting client buy-in. A substantial proportion of the class time is devoted to discussions, role-plays, case study exercises, and participant-facilitated discussions.

Explores the ten knowledge areas of the PMI鈥檚 A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge庐: Scope, Time, Quality, Cost, Human Resources, Communication, Risk, Procurement, Stakeholder and Integration management to demonstrate which traditional and agile project management methodologies can be applied to the realities of creative content environments and which ones need to be adapted.
