- Generating and applying new knowledge and methods to predict, prevent, and treat disease, as well as improve well-being
- Developing policies and actions to achieve optimal health outcomes through high quality, compassionate, and efficient health care
- Training clinician investigators and future leaders in academic medicine and population health in rigorous scientific methods
