The Classical Studies faculty engage in diverse research聽and聽participate in several interdisciplinary collaborations and international research networks.聽Current faculty research聽focuses on Archaic and Classical Greece,聽Republican and聽Early Imperial Rome, Roman Italy,聽classical historiography, Greek and Roman religion, performance, reception, and comparative texts. Classical Studies maintains an institutional membership in聽the Canadian Institute in Greece, whose聽academic resources and accommodations are open to our students during research trips to Greece.
