Primary duties:
The candidate will work independently on image processing projects in the laboratory of Professor Alan C. Evans (ACElab) at the MCIN/MNI. His/her work will be focused on shape and texture analysis and deformation modeling of brain anatomical data, including post mortem and various MRI modalities. He/she is responsible to create, test and document a validation platform for various morphometric analysis tools developed in the ACElab. The candidate should contribute to training students, preparing manuscripts and grants.

Cognitive neuroscientist Robert Zatorre has been awarded the C.L. de Carvalho-Heineken Prize in Cognitive Sciences.

The Heineken Prize鈥揼iven every two years to five different researchers鈥搃s considered the most prestigious international science prize in The Netherlands and includes a monetary reward of US$200,000. Previous winners include Nancy Kanwisher of MIT, and Stanislas Dehaene of the Coll猫ge de France.
