The October 2013 edition of Focus online takes a look at the Faculty of Law鈥檚 5th annual DCL retreat that took place this September, to discuss 鈥楩inding Our Place in Academic Life.鈥

The event, which was coorganized by doctoral candidates Jodi Lazare and Geoffrey Conrad, drew over 30 students for a full day of rewarding and insightful discussion.

The Faculty of Law is pleased to announce that Dr. Yaw Nyampong has been named Executive Director of the Centre for Research in Air & Space Law.

Yaw Nyampong (LLM鈥05, DCL鈥11) is also a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the University of Ghana, Legon. He held an Arsenault Postdoctoral Fellowship at 平特五不中's Institute of Air & Space Law in 2011-2012, and a Boulton Fellowship at the Faculty of Law in 2012-2013.

The Faculty of Law is pleased to announce that its Private Justice and the Rule of Law Research Team was awarded funding for an ambitious program of research entitled 鈥淧rivate Justice and its Laws: Harmonization, Conciliation and Legitimacy鈥.
