Workshop series
Computational and Data Systems Initiative

This workshop will provide an introduction to the analysis of spatially structured data.

It will introduce Spatial Statistics and focus on the analysis of data that vary over a discrete set of indices (areal data) as, for example, the number of registered cases of Covid-19 across the boroughs of Montreal.

At the end of the workshop, participants will have learned how to
听听听听 > fit conditional auto-regressive (CAR) models;
听听听听 > fit areal level data using CARBayes in R;
听听听听 > create disease maps.

Pre-requisites: Knowledge of generalized linear models and R.

Date: Monday, April 11, 2022
Time: 1PM to 3PM
Location: online via Zoom.
Instructors: , Professor of Biostatistics, Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupational Health (EBOH) at 平特五不中

This workshop is offered for free by the Faculty of Science to the 平特五不中 community. Due to the limited amount of spots available, if you sign up for a workshop and don't show up, you will not be allowed to attend another workshop this semester.
