Does the idea of disseminating research and other types of knowledge into the hands of clinicians, policy makers and others to effect positive change interest you? Peter Norman Levesque will share his long standing experience in the field and answer questions on how to get started and qualifications required.

Peter Norman Levesque is the founding President of the Institute for Knowledge Mobilization 鈥 host of the Canadian Knowledge Mobilization Forum. Peter's interest in public interest science began in 1982. He has continued to build on his experience of bridging research and practice. Following a successful business career, he began a career in public service that included leadership positions at Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, Children鈥檚 Hospital of Eastern Ontario, and the Ontario Neurotrauma Foundation. He is one of the founders of the global Living Knowledge network. He was the pilot officer for the Community-University Research Alliance program that was the catalyst for knowledge mobilization at SSHRC. As an advisor and professional consultant he has supported over 1200 client organizations, spoken at over 425 events with a combined audience of over 250,000 people, hosted workshop series and published articles in academic and professional journals. He has studied in Biochemistry, Sociology, Economics, Finance, Insurance, Public Administration, Population Health, Evidence-based Medicine, and currently in Art History and History of Religion. In 2015 he was knighted by the Order of St. John and focuses his efforts on palliative care of the poor and homeless. His passions are his family, community service as an active volunteer, travel (107/195 countries so far), photography, weird vehicles, and teaching a new generation of leaders.

Corinne completed her Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a D.E.S.S. in drug development with a focus in Regulatory Affairs from the Universit茅 de Montr茅al, Canada and her Bachelor degree in Medical Biology from the Universit茅 du Qu茅bec 脿 Trois- Rivi猫res. After completing an internship in the Drug Regulatory Affairs department at Novartis, she became a Regulatory Affairs Associate.

Sophie-Anne Lamour, PhD, and Senior Scientific Evaluator with Health Canada.

Sophie-Anne Lamour has a B.Sc. in Biochemistry and a Ph.D. in Pharmacology & Therapeutics from 平特五不中. For her Ph.D. thesis, Dr. Lamour studied the androgen regulation of apoptosis and cell survival in the epididymis in the lab of Dr. Bernard Robaire. She started her career at Health Canada in 2011 as a pre-market clinical drug reviewer in the field of cardiovascular diseases in the Therapeutic Products Directorate (TPD) in the Health Products and Food Branch (HPFB). During two short-term assignments, she also performed the pre-market review of cardiovascular devices and gastroenterology drugs. Since November 2017, she has been working as a Senior Scientific Evaluator in the Office of Science and Surveillance in the Controlled Substances and Cannabis Branch (CSCB), where she provides evidence-based recommendations to support regulatory, enforcement and compliance work, as well as public education campaigns.

Nicolas Godbout, MSc Data Scientist, Ubisoft

Following a short career as a music composer and arranger, Nicolas Godbout undertook studies in statistics culminating in a Masters from the University of Montreal, along with the Serge Tardif award honouring the best statistics graduate student. He has been working since 2018 as a data scientist at the Ubisoft Montreal User Research Lab, providing statistical expertise and support on various data-driven topics, and guiding the decision making of Ubisoft's Canadian productions by leveraging strategic user insights.

In the decade prior to joining Leading Change she held positions with 平特五不中鈥檚 Marcel Desautels Institute for Integrated Management (MDIIM) leading sustainability and social economy files, the Centre for Energy Advancement through Technological Innovation (CEATI) managing global applied research projects in the electricity sector and Chairing the Sierra Youth Coalition鈥檚 Executive Committee. She holds a BCom with a Major in Labour Relations from 平特五不中 and a Masters in Environment and Business from the University of Waterloo鈥檚 School of Environment, Enterprise, and Development (SEED).
