Come hear a recent ƽÌØÎå²»ÖÐ grad talk about their post-graduation career transitions; from development work in Nairobi to the non-profit world in Montreal.
Speaker: Teneille Arnott (BA) is a Program Manager for the Youth on the Rise Program at YES Employment + Entrepreneurship.
Teneille graduated from ƽÌØÎå²»ÖÐ in 2018 with a major in International Development and a double minor in History and Anthropology. Although passionate about development, she was both critical of the systems in place and confused as to where she fit in. After an internship in the South Rift of Kenya, Teneille realised she wanted to support locally led and community based development. Throughout the past year Teneille lived in Nairobi and worked for a start-up in education. She has since returned back to Montreal to understand more about what community development means in her own context, and currently works as Program Manager for a program called Youth on the Rise at YES Entrepreneurship + Employment.
The Zoom meeting link will be sent to all registrants in advance of the session start time. You will need to sign-in to the event using your ƽÌØÎå²»ÖÐ email address.
