The St. Andrews/McEuen Scholarship Foundation Chair in Canadian-Scottish Studies is associated with a variety of initiatives that听support undergraduate and graduate students working in the听area of Canadian-Scottish history.
These opportunities听include听internships听for undergraduate students听offered through the Arts Internship Office.听Every year, several "Canadian-Scottish internships" are hosted by Scottish cultural organizations. To date, internships have been hosted by the Black Watch Museum and Archives, the St. Andrew's Society of Montreal,听the 78th Fraser Highlanders, Jardins de M茅tis / Reford Gardens.听These paid internships offer听the opportunity to gain听work experience in historical research and public history.听
Support for graduate students听in History听is available through the Ian and Helgi Soutar Fund in Canadian-Scottish Studies,听the John Green-Armytage Travel Award, and research assistantships and scholarships offered through the Chair.听听听
