Amal: The Reslient School
Prof. Ipek T眉reli and her students in the studio course Design and Construction 2 invite you to the opening of the exhibition 鈥淎mal: The Resilient School.鈥澨 Amal, hope in Arabic, is an elementary school for traumatized Syrian refugee children in Turkey.听 This exhibition showcases the students鈥 propositions on how educational buildings and school architecture can respond to the ongoing humanitarian crisis.听 This event seeks to support the fundraising efforts of the Syrian Kids Foundation鈥檚 Al-Salam School in Reyhanl谋, Turkey (syriankids.ca).听 Donors will receive a complimentary copy of the exhibition catalogue.
