In recent years, data journalism has been responsible for an ever-growing number of headlines. Many established media and start-up projects are investing in this rapidly evolving genre. A new tribe of journalists, coders and graphic designers is emerging. But the story doesn't stop there. Data, Stories & Co., an afternoon symposium jointly sponsored by Media@平特五不中 and Radio-Canada, seeks to go beyond the trend by enabling a frank discussion among data journalism doers and thinkers.

What recipes will become classics? Is data journalism going to replace other forms of storytelling? How can we tell a digital story that is driven by big or complex data? These are just a few of the questions that will be discussed via a keynote speech by Jonathan Stray (), case studies, and a panel of experts.

Speakers include renowned data journalists Lorenz Matzat () and Jonathan Stray (), as well as S茅bastien Pierre (), Roberto Rocha (), Louis-Richard Tremblay () and Fabien Deglise ().
