Overview
You can pursue聽a minor聽in Arabic, Persian, Turkish or Urdu through the Islamic Studies聽Institute. Whichever language you choose, you鈥檒l receive聽comprehensive training in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.聽
You can enter the minor in Arabic Language聽no matter what聽your聽level of experience聽is聽with the language.聽If you have no prior knowledge of Arabic, you鈥檒l聽start with introductory courses that teach you how to understand and communicate at a聽basic聽level.
As your skills develop, you鈥檒l聽be introduced to increasingly complex texts, and聽can start exploring culturally significant Arabic聽media.
