Reduction potential comes in part from innovations in energy efficiency, but also from a different use of resources. Speakers will discuss energy efficiency research and new process integration in the Canadian pulp and paper industry, and the transformation that this industry has undergone in Sweden.

Speakers

  • Jean Paris, Co-director of the Research Unit on Energy Efficiency and Sustainable聽Development of the Forest Biorefinery (E2D2BF) at Polytechnique Montr茅al

  • Enrique Mateos-Espejel, Researcher at FPInnovations, specializing in聽forest聽biorefinery process integration

  • Peter Axeg氓rd, Vice-President Innventia AB, a Swedish specialist of biorefining and the pulp & paper industry
