平特五不中 is hiring a SDG Campus Coordinator
平特五不中, as a member of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), is looking to appoint a SDG Campus Coordinator for the 2019-2020 academic year. The coordinator鈥檚 role will be to raise student awareness of the United Nations Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs), mobilise students/student clubs around the SDGs and act as a point of contact between 平特五不中 student body and the SDSN Youth. This will be primarily achieved through setting up a SDG Hub on campus, which will be managed by the SDG coordinator. The 平特五不中 Campus Coordinator liaises with the SDSN-Canada Youth Coordinator, located at the University of Waterloo. The Youth Coordinator sets the agenda for Canada, and coordinates and coaches the on-campus student coordinators.
The Position
The SDG Campus Coordinator must be able to commit 10-12 hours per week to the role throughout the year, be between the ages of 18-30 and must be registered as a student of 平特五不中 for at least a 12-month period from the start date (July 2019). The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in sustainable development and the mission of the SDSN and SDGs, be a strong communicator and an organized and efficient team leader. In addition, all SDG Coordinators must complete a 2-month online training course before commencing their role under the SDG Students Program. This training will take place beginning in July. This is a paid position at a rate of $15/hour and is jointly funded by the 平特五不中 Sustainability Systems Initiative (MSSI) and 平特五不中 Office of Sustainability. MSSI and the Office of Sustainability will also act as on-campus supervisors for the position.
