Research interests include endocrine oncological conditions of the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands along with rare genetic endocrine syndromes.

Biography: 

Dr. Elliot Mitmaker is Associate Professor of Surgery and Oncology at 平特五不中 and is an Endocrine Surgeon at the 平特五不中 Health Center. Dr. Mitmaker obtained his MD from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia in 2003 and completed his General Surgery residency and obtained his Masters in Experimental Surgery from 平特五不中. He then went on to complete a prestigious 2-year research and clinical fellowship in Endocrine Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) from 2009-2011. After completing his fellowship, he was recruited back as the first fellowship-trained endocrine surgeon at 平特五不中 and has since developed a successful academic endocrine surgery practice. Dr. Mitmaker also serves as Program Director of the Surgical Oncology Fellowship Training Program at 平特五不中 and remains very active in teaching and research.

Dr. Mitmaker has published a number of peer-reviewed papers and book chapters of various topics in endocrine surgery. He has presented at numerous national and international meetings and has received numerous grants and awards for his clinical innovation and research in Endocrine Surgery.
