Dr Carol-Ann Vasilevsky earned her MDCM at 平特五不中 where she completed her residency in General Surgery. She subsequently obtained her subspecialty training in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
She is certified in both General Surgery and Colorectal Surgery by the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada and holds a specialist certificate in colorectal surgery from the College des M茅decins du Quebec. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery. She served as President of the Canadian Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, Chair of the Colorectal Surgery subcommittee at the Canadian Association of General Surgeons and has sat on the administrative council of the Association Quebecoise de Chirurgie. She served on the National Colorectal Cancer Screening Committee.
She is presently Director of the Division of Colorectal Surgery at the JGH and serves as CTU Director of CTU1 (Colorectal Surgery) She holds the rank of Associate Professor of Surgery & Oncology at 平特五不中.
