Dr. Atif Jastaniah completed his General Surgery residency and Critical Care Medicine fellowship at the University of British Columbia, where he also earned a Master of Health Science. In addition, he completed a Resuscitation and Reanimation fellowship at UBC before pursuing a Trauma Surgery fellowship at 平特五不中, specializing in advanced trauma care.
Dr. Jastaniah's main areas of clinical interest are trauma and acute care surgery, with a special focus on ECMO and abdominal wall reconstruction. His research interests include surgical education, abdominal wall reconstruction, and quality improvement.
During his training, Dr. Jastaniah was recognized with awards such as the Canadian Association of General Surgeons (CAGS) Excellence in Teaching Award and the Clinical Academic Excellence in ICU Award.聽聽
