Vue d'ensemble

Traduction : Introduction to the principles and practice of translation from English into Spanish, including contrastive analysis of English and Spanish, general text analysis, as well as an introduction to appropriate research techniques and sources of documentation. Examination of various methods and strategies to identify and resolve different translation problems.

  • Corequisite(s): CCTR 218, OR, CCTR 237, OR, CCTR 317.

  • Restriction(s): Open only to students in the following programs: Certificate in Translation, Spanish to English option; Certificate in Translation, English to Spanish option.

  • Not open to students who have taken or are taking CCTR 227.

  • The languages of instruction of this course are Spanish and English.
