The Graduate Certificate in International Leadership in Educational and Administrative Development (I-LEAD) targets leaders, consultants, senior management, administrators, and policy makers from a range of educational institutions (universities, colleges, private schools), organizations (hospitals, community, governmental), and the corporate sector. The varied curriculum provide a world-class global training experience in educational leadership. The majority of courses are delivered online asynchronously, with students accessing learning material and engaging in online discussions. Courses are offered online during the fall, winter, and spring semesters, and also include an intensive summer component on the ƽÌØÎå²»ÖÐ campus.

EDLE 601 Resource Administration & Fiscal Accountability (3 credits)
Overview
EDLE : This course will explore the concepts and skills necessary to manage the human and financial resources of organizations (companies, NGOs, schools, departments), including topics such as labour contracts, staff supervision, and the use of volunteers. The course will also explore side-budget management in not-for-profit organisations, particularly in relation to strategic and operational goals and objectives. It will investigate the process of formulating expenditure decisions that align with strategic goals. Models of budget development will be explored, as will approaches to costeffectiveness analysis in educational settings.

EDLE 602 Marketing & Strategy in International Education Leadership (3 credits)
Overview
EDLE : This course will focus on interconnected concepts such as the principles of marketing in private and public sector organisations, the marketing needs of education institutions (e.g. student recruitment, reputation and institutional image), and the identification of target markets.

Overview
EDLE : This course addresses current approaches to planning and the development of expertise in educational institutions. Critical components of the course will include strategic and results-based planning, log frame analysis, systems assessment (systems leadership), and stakeholders analysis.

EDLE 605 Leading for Success in Educational Institutions (3 credits)
Overview
EDLE : This course focuses on key issues related to leadership in human resource management. It begins with an introduction of the concepts of leadership and the role of leadership in educational settings. Subsequently, it focuses on addressing strategic planning, and the design, execution, and assessment of recruitment programs, including mechanisms that support performance within the workplace (evaluation, mentoring, professional development). The course will examine the foundations of effective learning for individuals and organisations, and the relationship between the two.
