Sciences politiques : An examination of the structure of the judiciary and its role in the Canadian political process. Topics include the nature of judicial power and its constitutional framework in Canada, the structure and function of courts, judicial recruitment and personnel, judicial policy-making and the political role of the Supreme Court under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
