Program Requirements
The non-credit Professional Development Certificate in English for Healthcare program is designed to offer English language training for professional and specific purposes. The main objective of the program is to develop learners鈥� oral workplace communication skills in English for the purpose of better serving their Anglophone clientele in healthcare settings. It is designed for the acquisition of linguistic, communicative, and pragmatic competence in English.
N.B. Candidates whose Entrance Placement Test results place them at a level lower than the Advanced level may take up to 12 program prerequisite courses in preparation for entry in to the Advanced level.
