Overview
French (CCE) : Instruction in listening, speaking, reading and writing French, including grammar, phonetics, thematic vocabulary and functional expressions, is aimed at helping students develop the linguistic and communicative skills required to operate in various simple social and cultural contexts./ Ce cours vise 脿 d茅velopper la compr茅hension et l'expression orales, la lecture et l'茅criture en langue fran莽aise. Il inclut l'茅tude de la grammaire, de la phon茅tique, du vocabulaire th茅matique et des expressions usuelles. Il vise aussi 脿 aider les 茅tudiants 脿 acqu茅rir les comp茅tences linguistiques et communicatives dont ils ont besoin pour interagir dans des situations socioculturelles simples mais vari茅es.

Section 701: Due to the intensive nature of this course, the standard add/drop and withdrawal deadlines do not apply. Add/drop is the second lecture day and withdrawal is the fourth lecture day.
Section 751: This course includes a Friday, May 25, 2012 make-up class which will be calculated as the web withdrawal deadline.
