The Department of Social Studies of Medicine (SSoM) will be celebrating its fiftieth anniversary during the 2016-2017 academic year. To mark the occasion, a conference will take place on October 28 and 29 2016 titled 鈥�Prospects and Perspectives in Social Studies of Medicine鈥� to reflect on future directions for our field.
