Tatiana Ogourtsova is an early career researcher in pediatrics and is leading the RESI-ALLIANT KID laboratory (Research on Evidence-based Services and Innovative strategies conducted in ALLIANce and True partnership with Key stakeholders to Improve the lives of children with Developmental disabilities and their families) located at the Research Center of the Jewish Rehabilitation Hospital (CISSS Laval, site of CRIR).Â
The RESI-ALLIANT KID laboratory is dedicated to improving the lives of children with brain-based developmental disabilities and their families. Their work is based on core values of patient-oriented research and knowledge translation. Conducted research addresses multiple areas related to pediatric rehabilitation and includes health coaching for children with disabilities and their families, family-centered care, novel interventions to support life transitions and mental health, early interventions, and new methods of healthcare services delivery including telehealth. Â
Tatiana is a clinician with a decade of hands-on clinical experience in a neurology/neurosurgery acute care and outpatient settings. Her MSc and PhD in Rehabilitation Science was in the field of visuo-perceptual neurorehabilitation post-stroke and virtual reality. She pursued her postdoctoral trainings in neurodevelopment and pediatrics. Currently, Tatiana is an early career researcher, based at the research center of the Jewish Rehabilitation Hospital (CISSS Laval, site of CRIR). Tatiana is accepting all levels of graduate students (MSc, PhD) and post-doctoral trainees with interest in pediatric research.Â
Tatiana Ogourtsova is specialized in neurorehabilitation across the lifespan.Â
