Black History Month Event: Joy, Liberation, and Vitality in Black Maternal Health
The 平特五不中 School of Population and Global Health Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Anti-Racism Standing Committee and the Department of Global and Public Health invite the 平特五不中 community for an informative and engaging Black History Month event, titled 鈥Joy, Liberation, and Vitality in Black Maternal Health鈥, led by Dr. . Dr. Opara is a prominent Detroit-based physician and global public health expert. Recognized for her impactful work during the COVID-19 pandemic, she founded Opara Equity and Justice Labs and co-chairs the End Race-Based Medicine Taskforce. Beyond her medical roles, Dr. Opara is a proud mother, dancer, and advocate for joy, justice, and liberation for Black communities worldwide.
This event is open to 平特五不中 students, faculty members and staff.
