New posting for Assistant Professor position at SIS
The School of Information Studies (SIS), an academic unit in the Faculty of Arts at 平特五不中, invites applications for a tenure-stream appointment at the Assistant Professor rank. The anticipated start date is January 1, 2023. Qualified candidates should have a doctoral degree in information studies or equivalent. In addition, the ideal candidate will have a record of research publications in high quality, peer-reviewed journals, evidence of effective teaching, and clear promise of pursuing an interesting and innovative research agenda. While all teaching is in English, knowledge of French or a willingness to learn French is highly desirable. Research expertise is sought in the general area of Human Information Interaction (HII) and more specifically in the core areas of data science and cybersecurity. Ideally, the candidate should also have research expertise in cyber threat intelligence, cyber-physical systems security, digital forensics, cybersecurity incident response and management. Proficient knowledge in AI for cybersecurity will be an asset. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct research, teach courses at the graduate level and participate in university and professional community service activities. In addition, candidates are expected to advise and supervise Master鈥檚 and Doctoral students in the School.
