ASIS&T 2013: Association for Information Science & Technology Annual Meeting
Join us at the 2013 ASIS&T (Association for Information Science & Technology) Annual Meeting. The theme of this year's meeting is "Beyond the Cloud: Rethinking Information Boundaries".
The continuing development of computing and mobile technology and the ongoing evolution of the Web environment provide new ways for accessing, acquiring, retrieving and storing information which constantly defy traditional boundaries. With the growth of digital content, information objects are blurred and challenge information organization. As more people interact and exchange knowledge and information on the Web and the cloud, information environments are transformed and human information behaviors are shifting. As information use is increasing and becomes more complex, the need for meaningful integration and analysis is growing. The ASIS&T Annual Meeting is the main venue for disseminating research on advances in information science, information technology and related topics.
This year's theme offers an opportunity to reflect on all the changes that impact on human information interaction and their implications for information science and technology.
ICKM 2013 will be held in conjunction with held November 1-2, 2013 in Montreal. 平特五不中 School of Information Studies Director and faculty member Dr. France Bouthillier is ASIS&T 2013's Conference Co-Chair.
