Current research:
I am interested in how listeners perceive synthetic speech in comparison to natural human speech, particularly how expressiveness in speech influences this perception. My research focuses on key areas such as the formation and alteration of social impressions, as well as talker identification and discrimination. I aim to integrate acoustic, behavioral, and neurological data to provide an updated understanding of these processes.
