Learn about the ancient cultures of Mesoamerica and make a terracotta sculpture or carving聽to take home.

What happens where art meets science?聽Led by student teachers聽from 平特五不中's Faculty of Education, these workshops will introduce young people to the museum鈥檚 collections and help them develop creative thinking and artistic skills. From fossils and mono prints to sea mammals and soundwaves, these聽workshops encourage innovative, creative and playful explorations of the connections between science and art.

Each week we will focus on a specific part of the museum collection and create art inspired by what we learn and see.聽Please note: these workshops are for pre-teens and聽teens ages 9-14. To ensure that our content is age-appropriate, this program is not for younger children. Thank you for your understanding.聽

Each workshop is $12+tax per child聽/ workshop.聽
