Dr. Gobbi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry. She holds a PhD in Neuroscience and has dedicates her career to the search for novel treatments for mental diseases and to alleviating suffering in people with severe depression. She has over 2300 citations in the field of fundamental and clinical psychopharmacology and has published more than 60 peer-reviewed papers in high impact journals. She is also the holder of two patents concerning novel psychotropic drugs.
