World Restart a Heart (WRAH)聽is a global initiative that aims to increase public awareness and rates of bystander cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). During the聽week of October 11, 2021, members of the 平特五不中 Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS) will lead a special Bicentennial edition of the WRAH 2021 campaign at 平特五不中.聽This聽student-led interprofessional initiative聽brings together students, residents, faculty members, healthcare professionals, and administration from the FMHS, the Steinberg Centre for Simulation and Interactive Learning (SCSIL) and the 平特五不中 Health Centre (MUHC).
The goal of this campaign is to educate communities across Canada about the importance of bystander CPR and to enhance CPR knowledge and skills... and ultimately, to聽reduce the number of cardiac arrest deaths.聽
