Biography:

Dr. Brian Ward is a Professor of Medicine and Microbiology. He has long-standing interest in negative-sense RNA viruses: particularly Paramyxoviruses (measles virus, mumps virus, RSV) and Orthomyxoviruses (influenza viruses). He also gives regular lectures on tropical medicine (eg: Panama Field Course, FMD) and vaccine science for CME courses (TELS, Family Medicine, Drug Refresher, Tropical Medicine, Colloque Bleu).
