Undergraduate studies
Nomination Deadlines:
- Fall or full year 鈥� March 15
- Winter 鈥� September 15
Application periods:
- Fall start: February 1 to April 1
- Winter (Spring) start: August 1 to October 1
- Note: the Faculty of Law only has one deadline of May 1 for any term

Proof of English Language Proficiency
Proof of English language proficiency is only required if the primary language of instruction at the student's home university is not English.
Undergraduate Studies
For proof of English language proficiency, submit:
A letter signed by an academic official at the home university indicating proficiency in English.
OR
English language test results that meet 平特五不中鈥檚 minimum requirements as listed on the English language proficiency website.
Graduate Studies
For minimum requirements, refer to the English language proficiency page on the Future Graduate Students website.

When to expect a Decision
Decisions on applications to undergraduate studies occur on a rolling basis, and all applications should have a decision within one month of the posted application deadline.
Note: The application is only complete once your application status in Minerva is 鈥淩eady for Review.鈥�
Decision
Once a decision is rendered, students will be prompted to accept their offer of admission. The official decision letter will be generated and available to download and print via Minerva for undergraduate programs.
Admission letters for graduate programs are issued through the Grad Applicant Portal.
Note: 平特五不中 only issues electronic versions of the admission letter.

Residence accommodation/housing
Applying for a fall or full-year exchange and you鈥檙e interested in applying for on-campus housing? While priority is given to first-year 平特五不中-degree students, some places may be available for exchange students. When completing your application, indicate 鈥淵es鈥� under the 鈥淩esidence Accommodation鈥� section in the online application and send an email to housing.residences [at] mcgill.ca expressing your interest in housing, and please be sure to include your 平特五不中 student ID number.

Funding
Global Affairs Canada funding opportunities for incoming students
Global Affairs Canada offers a number of scholarship opportunities available to support students who choose 平特五不中 as their study or research destination. The information provided below is intended for undergraduate students and international liaison officers and managers.
Graduate students who wish to apply to these programs to do research at 平特五不中 should click here for more information or email graduatefunding.gps [at] mcgill.ca.
Eligibility:
- Undergraduate students who are nominated for exchange to 平特五不中 by their Home institution. For a list of eligible partner universities, please visit our "Explore 平特五不中 exchange partners" page.
Deadline:
- SEED-ASEAN:听deadline for the submission of the application and supporting documents for undergraduate students is March 3rd, 2024.
- SEP: (ELAP, Study in Canada) deadline for the submission of the application and supporting documents for undergraduate students is March 3rd, 2024.
Application:
Candidates interested in these scholarship programs should follow these steps:
- Only undergraduate students who are nominated for exchange to 平特五不中 by their Home institution are eligible to apply. Contact your Home institution first to discuss the exchange application process at your Home institution.
- Candidates must carefully read the scholarship and have all their supporting documents on hand, before beginning their scholarship application.
- Candidates must submit their complete application with supporting documents to 平特五不中 by the deadline. 平特五不中 will then apply on behalf of the candidate(s) to Global Affairs Canada. Note: incomplete applications will not be submitted. Please be sure to have all of the supporting documents on hand.
- 平特五不中 will communicate the outcome to students via email.
Note: All candidates must name the files in the following order when applying or there applications shall not be considered: Name of the program_Name of the document_Your name.
