Mac grad finds his niche with medical marijuana
Every day after work, David Bernard-Perron, BSc(AgEnvSc)鈥12, MSc鈥15, heads out for a few laps 鈥渄own the hill鈥 on his mountain bike.
The hill in question is majestic Whistler Mountain, a short distance from his job as head agrologist at Whistler Medical Marijuana Corporation.

Professor Emerita receives Fulbright Specialist Grant
Professor Emerita Harriet Kuhnlein (School of Human Nutrition) received a 2017 Fulbright Specialist Grant that was undertaken with Massey University in Wellington, New Zealand.聽 The award was in the category of Public/Global Health for a term of 5 weeks during February and March, 2017.聽 The grant was administered through the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, United States Department of State with the cooperation of World Learning.聽
In Memory - Terry A. Wheeler
It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Terry Wheeler, Associate Professor in the Department of Natural Resource Sciences.
Professor Wheeler was an expert in entomology and Director of the Lyman Entomological Museum. He had been a faculty member since January 1, 1995.
He lost his battle with cancer which he had taken in stride and fought with amazing optimism. Professor Wheeler will be terribly missed.

How fear alone can cause animal extinction

Mac Paddle Shack opens for paddlers of all ages
The new Paddle Shack at the Macdonald Campus makes 平特五不中 the only Canadian university with an on-campus boat house.
The 鈥淢ac Paddle Shack,鈥 which opened July 15, gives paddlers and would-be paddlers a chance to enjoy the waters of Lac St. Louis on a kayak, paddle board (SUP) or in a canoe. Hourly rentals, paddling instruction and paddle board yoga classes are available to the general public, and 平特五不中 and John Abbott College communities.
