Environment students tackle climate-change problems
In [Bieler School of Environment course] ENVR 401, advanced undergrads team up to conduct research on behalf of actual 鈥渃lients,鈥 such as not-for-profit organizations, government agencies, and operating units of the University. The students scope out their projects at the start of the fall semester. By the end of the semester, they submit final reports for dissemination to the research community and to the people affected.
Drawing the future of Mac campus

Kimmins' HISTurn project receives Innovation Funding
Led by Dr. Sarah Kimmins, Department of Animal Science and Pharmacology and Therapeutics, HISTurn is one of three Prelaunch Phase projects awarded support through the University鈥檚 Innovation Fund. This fertility diagnostic technology fills a health needs gap by accurately diagnosing infertility in men and providing clinicians with actionable information to allow them to streamline fertility treatment pathways.

Earlier this year Maxime received the Macdonald Distinguished Young Alumni Award.

Marangoni appointed to Order of Canada
On December 29th, for the first time in her role as Governor General of Canada, Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon announced Order of Canada appointments and promotions. Among the 135 honorees is Professor Alejandro G. Marangoni (B.Sc.(Agr)鈥87), the Canada Research Chair in Food, Health and Aging at the University of Guelph.
