Three Mac-based research projects have been funded through FQRNT/MAPAQ鈥檚 first Partnership Research Program-Sustainable Agriculture . All of the projects fall under the scientific program developed by the .
Congrats to Profs:
Valerio Hoyos-Villegas (PltSc) for ImPULSE: a transdisciplinary project in technological development for the sustainable production of plant proteins in Canada;
Cynthia Kallenbach (NRS) for Increasing crop diversity as a solution to mitigate responses of soil carbon, microbial communities and pesticide use to changing rainfall patterns;
Joann Whalen (NRS) for Study of soil organic matter and its components in conventional and organic agrosystems in field crops in order to better understand its evolution according to rotations and agricultural practices.
