Professors Abdoulaye Banir茅 Diallo (UQAM), Elsa Vasseur (平特五不中) and the team would like to invite you to the Research and Innovation Chair in Animal Welfare and Artificial Intelligence鈥檚 first research and innovation day on November 14. The event will feature an update on WELL-E鈥檚 activities as well as a keynote presentation from Professor Pierrich Plusquellec听on the responsible use of artificial intelligence in the context of research on animal welfare. In addition, to showcase the exceptional field work carried out by our students, we鈥檒l hold an exhibit with presentations and demos.

This event will provide a unique opportunity to celebrate the Chair鈥檚 leaps and bounds since its 2023 launch, to create dialogue between faculty members, students and researchers at 平特五不中 and UQAM and key industry stakeholders as well as to foster creativity and engagement in this emerging and promising field. Since its launch, WELL-E has garnered recognition and honours at 50 conferences and in 13 scientific publications and has several promising endeavours underway.
