Event description
The event is inspired by the 15th anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and part of the Disability and Law Initiative building on work that started in 2012. This event looks back at the last decade and a half with a critical and analytical lens. We ask: What advances have been made? What are some of the lessons learnt? What should we draw from experiences of disability policy, accessibility implementation, and social advocacy moving forward?  In 6 minute presentations, students and recent graduates will share their work on disability and law, policy, accessibility and social advocacy amongst other topics.
