Want to spread Valentine's Day cheer while getting involved in the community?ÌýJoin our Valentine's Day event at a seniors residence!ÌýYou’ll help sort and distribute treats and participate in activities with the residents. CHSLDs (long-term care centers) house seniors who have lost autonomy, providing a safe and welcoming environment with necessary care. Wearing a mask is encouraged. Ìý

Registration closes on February 5, 2025. First-time volunteers for this activity will be required to complete a Background Check Form by February 10. Ìý

By registering for this activity, you agree that your name (first and last) will be shared with the partner organization for logistical and attendance purposes. Once your participation is confirmed, you will receive an email 48 hours in advance with additional information, including the meeting time and location for traveling together to the venue.Ìý

After 4 hours of volunteering at this venue, you can request a copy of your Co-Curricular Record (CCR), an official document recognizing your involvement in out-of-classroom learning experiences.Ìý

The venue is easily accessible by public transit. The nearest metro station is a short walk from the location. The venue is equipped with elevators and accessible entrances to ensure convenient access for individuals with mobility challenges.Ìý
