Commemoration for COVID Losses

March 11th听is a day set aside by the Quebec government to remember those who lost their lives to COVID 19, a year after听it was declared a global pandemic by World Health Organization.听At MORSL, we invite our entire community to come together to听honour听those lives, as well as to hold space for all the other听losses endured in this听ongoing pandemic.听听
听
This evening event taking place from听6-7 PM (EST)听will include secular and ecumenical elements as well as听reflections and prayers听from various religious and spiritual traditions as we collectively name our losses and process our grief. We听are motivated听by the belief that those who attend will find some comfort in the company of others like us who are experiencing the sorrow of missed loved ones, missed opportunities, economic and social hardships, and much more that remains to be named. Together we can support each other and听rekindle hope for the future.听
