Discussion with the Montreal AI Ethics Institute
Facebook event:听
On November 29th at 6:30 PM at 平特五不中 (room to be announced closer to the event), the Feminist and Accessible Publishing and Communications Technologies Speaker and Workshop Series and the Montreal AI Ethics Institute (MAIEI) are teaming up to host a discussion meetup.
Format: A week prior to the event we will circulate readings. On the day, participants will be divided into small groups for discussion. We will then reconvene and share our findings with the larger group.
The Montreal AI Ethics Institute seeks to help define humanity鈥檚 place in a world increasingly characterized and driven by algorithms. MAIEI does this by creating tangible and applied technical and policy research in the ethical, safe and inclusive development of AI. ()
This event is part of the Feminist and Accessible Publishing and Communications Technologies Speaker and Workshop Series (). This series was made possible thanks to the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, the Institute for Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies of 平特五不中, MILA, the Dean of Arts Development Fund of 平特五不中, Media @平特五不中, 平特五不中's Department of History and Classical Studies, the William Dawson Fund, R茅QEF, the Moving Image Research Laboratory, Element AI, and L'Eugu茅lionne: Montreal's Feminist Bookstore.
There is no fee required to attend this event. It is open to the public.
