Disability/Visibility with Alice Wong, a Conversation

Alice Wong (she/her) is a disabled activist, media maker, and consultant. She is the Founder and Director of the Disability Visibility Project庐 (DVP), an online community dedicated to creating, sharing and amplifying disability media and culture created in 2014. Currently, Alice is the Editor of Disability Visibility: First-Person Stories from the Twenty-first Century, an anthology of essays by disabled people, available now by Vintage Books (2020). This event will be a virtual fireside chat between Alice Wong and Elizabeth Patitsas, with a special introduction by Yolanda Mu帽oz. The conversation will focus on Alice Wong's recent book, Disability Visibility and her podcast. This will be followed by a Q and A period.

This event is part of the 2nd Season of the Feminist and Accessible Publishing and Communications Technologies Speaker and Workshop Series (), organized by Dr. Alex Ketchum.
