Program Description
The Master of Arts (M.A.) in Anthropology (Non-Thesis)聽offered by the Department of Anthropology in the Faculty of Arts聽is a course-based program that emphasizes rigorous and comprehensive learning opportunities. The program's objective is to equip students with skills in attention to detail, literature synthesis, and critical reading to pursue professional opportunities (or potentially continue their studies).

Unique Program Features
- The program provides an intensive, course-based training in the fundamentals of anthropological theory and methodology over three academic semesters;
- Students have the opportunity to collaborate with research centers such as the Anthropology for the Ecozoic, the Critical Media Lab, STANDD, CICADA and I-CAN;
- The Department collaborates with other research centers at 平特五不中 such as Social Studies of Medicine, the Division of Social and Transcultural Psychiatry, the Institute for Gender, Sexuality and Feminist Studies, the Institute for the Study of International Development, the 平特五不中 School of the Environment, Art History and Communication Studies, the Institute of Islamic Studies, the Wolfe Chair in Scientific and Technological Literacy, and the School of Religious Studies.
