Aerospace Engineering (M.Eng.)

Program Description

The Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Aerospace Engineering (Non-Thesis) offered by the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering is a course-based program that emphasizes contemporary and engaging learning opportunities. The program's objective is to equip students with skills in cutting-edge thinking, collaboration, and scientific communication to pursue professional opportunities (or potentially continue their studies).

Unique Program Features

  • Offered in conjunction with Concordia University, Polytechnique Montr茅al, l'Universit茅 de Laval, l'Universit茅 de Sherbrooke, and l'脡cole de Technologie Sup茅rieure;
  • Active participation from industry partners including an 鈥淚ndustrial Stage鈥 of four months (i.e., engineering work in the aerospace industry);
  • The program may be completed on a part-time basis;
  • Our research and experimental facilities are home to state-of-the-art equipment (including a major wind tunnel facility) and extensive computational installations;
  • Our professors collaborate with professors in other units, often through research centres including the Centre for Intelligent Machines (CIM), the 平特五不中 Institute for Advanced Materials (MIAM), and the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital (MNI).

  • English-language proficiency

Program-Specific Admission Requirement

  • An eligible Bachelor's degree with a minimum 3.3 GPA out of a possible 4.0 GPA
