Friday, December 13, 2019 23:45

A unique opportunity for 平特五不中 & affiliated hospitals Faculty Members to get extra help on their research in the summer.

The Global Health Scholars Undergraduate Program pairs an outstanding 平特五不中 undergraduate student with a faculty member to help on an international, Northern Canada, or Montreal-based research project during the summer of 2020.

Applicants will be matched to faculty mentors based on skill set, interests, and needs of the mentor. The faculty member will make the final decision on which student is selected for his/her project. The chosen students will receive $2,500-5,000 for the project which will need to cover travel costs (if required) and stipend.

平特五不中 is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous Peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg Nations. 平特五不中 honours, recognizes, and respects these nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which peoples of the world now gather. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous Peoples from across Turtle Island. We are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land.
